Hamilton IBM Ring #49, The Doug Henning Magic Wand Club, presents an evening with World Champion Magician Henry Evans, Monday April 27th at 7PM, Binkley United Church, 1570 Main Street West, Hamilton L8S 1E8

Admission: $10 (for non-club members)

In November 2012, Henry Evans was invited to compete in Beijing China at the World Championship, comprising of FISM winners from the last 20 years.  Henry won The Gold Prize, First Prize, given in a real golden cup valued at $10,000.

  • Henry once again will be a jury member at FISM in Rimini, Italy in July 2015.
  • Henry previously was a jury member at FISM, Blackpool England 2012.
  • In 2009 at FISM in Beijing, Henry was a Performer & Lecturer.
  • That same year, Henry was the Guest of Honour at Obie’s FFFF convention.
  • In 2002 Henry was awarded the MVP at the FFFF Convention.
  • Henry was nominated Magic Castle Lecturer of the Year for 2001 & 2004 and Magician of the year for 1995, 2000 & 2005.
  • In 2000 Henry was awarded 1st Prize in Card Magic at FISM, Portugal.
  • Henry was awarded Magician of The Yearfor 1995, 2000, 2005, 2011, & 2012 in Buenos Aires, Argentina
  • Henry Evans has lectured in more than 40 countries around the world.

If you have never seen Henry Evans lecture before, you are invited to peek into the mind of a Master Magician with an interesting view on how to produce strong magic, from the clever uses of gaffs to effects with nothing other than a borrowed deck.  Henry has amazed both laymen and magicians with his devious mind, producing miracles with cards, silks and coins with his particular twist.  Henry’s innovative approach to magic is not to be missed.
