Ring 49 is one of Canada’s longest standing IBM Rings and has had as past members internationally renowned magicians such as Greg Frewin and Doug Henning (for whom the club is now named).
The club currently meets from 7:00 pm (doors open 6:30) to 9:30 pm on the second Tuesday each month September through June at Ryerson United Church, 265 Wilson Street East in Ancaster.
Meetings start with a Teaching Table where a member demonstrate and coach/teach a favorite effect. Next is a main presentation, which might be a visiting lecturer of note or a themed presentation like an auction or a club exchange presentation from a visiting club.
